Matthew 7:7 -- Use a Prayer List and Pray for Others

“Keep on asking and it will be given you.”

Matthew 7:7

The two words “prayer list” are not mentioned simultaneously in the bible, but it is wise to have a prayer list for those that God has given to you to stand in the gap for. Many in our circle of influence need our prayers. We need other people’s prayers as well. I don’t know if you have a prayer list or not, but it would be good if you put before yourself daily the needs of those you know and love—especially for those that need salvation. If you don’t have a prayer list anymore, I encourage you to write a new one and begin to pray for those on your list. There are also many apps available to help you with this if you love the newest technologies. Prayer journals are good too. God hears our prayers and prayers are needed for everyone. Be encouraged today. Matthew 7:7 says “Keep on asking and it will be given you.” I know people that have prayed years for something and then God finally answered their prayers in a miraculous way. God is able. PUSH through till the answers come. PUSH stands for Pray Until Something Happens. God is faithful. He can do it!

Father, thank You for the awesome privilege we have to pray and intercede for those that are in our lives. Our lives get busy, but may they never be so busy that we don’t take the time to pray for those that are in our lives. Thank You for moving in our hearts and for making us aware that praying for others is important. Please hear our prayers and answer them accordingly. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
